Prior to joining Ascendant Capital Partners, Eric Calder was the Co-Chief Investment Officer of Dune Real Estate Partners, a New York City-based real estate investment firm. At Dune, he was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and led over $6 billion in transactions across the residential, retail, industrial, office and hospitality sectors.

Carly Roberts
Assistant Fund Controller

Carly Roberts joined Ascendant Capital Partners in 2025 and currently serves as Assistant Fund Controller. Carly is primarily responsible for the review and reconciliation of Ascendant Capital Partners fund financial and capital statement reporting. Prior to joining Ascendant Capital Partners, Carly worked at Ernst & Young as an Assurance Manager where she was responsible for coordinating the annual and quarterly US GAAP financial statement audits for various public and private real estate and private equity companies, as well as performed integrated internal controls audits for leading real estate companies.

Carly graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara and received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting. Carly is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.
