Prior to joining Ascendant Capital Partners, Eric Calder was the Co-Chief Investment Officer of Dune Real Estate Partners, a New York City-based real estate investment firm. At Dune, he was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and led over $6 billion in transactions across the residential, retail, industrial, office and hospitality sectors.

Ryan Yanney
Assistant Fund Controller

Ryan Yanney joined Ascendant Capital Partners in 2024 and currently serves as Assistant Fund Controller. Ryan is primarily responsible for the review and reconciliation of Ascendant Capital Partners fund financial and capital statement reporting.

Prior to joining Ascendant Capital Partners, Ryan worked at Regent Properties as a Fund Accounting Manager where he was responsible for financial reporting, tax reporting, and loan compliance for several commercial real estate funds. Prior to Regent, Ryan worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the TMT assurance practice where he performed annual and quarterly US GAAP financial statement audits and integrated internal controls audits for leading media companies.

Ryan received a M.P.A. and a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.
