Prior to joining Ascendant Capital Partners, Eric Calder was the Co-Chief Investment Officer of Dune Real Estate Partners, a New York City-based real estate investment firm. At Dune, he was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and led over $6 billion in transactions across the residential, retail, industrial, office and hospitality sectors.

Yusuf Sulymankhel joined Ascendant Capital Partners in 2025 and serves as an Associate. Mr. Sulymankhel is responsible for underwriting the Firm’s acquisition activities and supporting asset management across its portfolio. Prior to joining Ascendant Capital Partners, Mr. Sulymankhel was an Investment Associate at Stockbridge, where he was involved in portfolio management, underwriting, and execution of transactions across the capital stack for the $6 billion master-planned development of Treasure Island in San Francisco. Mr. Sulymankhel began his career at Green Street, where he conducted real estate sector and market research. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Arizona.
